This award honors a distinguished Georgian who is a recognized leader in the community and has made outstanding contributions to healthcare. Hospital trustees and board members are eligible. Current hospital employees are not eligible.

Please note that the hospital CEO/administrator/president and/or board chair must review and endorse this nomination and its submission to GHA. You will have the opportunity to confirm this endorsement during the submission process.
Any GHA member may submit a nomination.
Nominations must show how the candidate meets each of the following criteria:
- Is a recognized leader in the community and in his or her own business or profession.
- Has contributed both time and talent to bettering the hospital and other healthcare services in the community.
- Has brought about specific and positive changes that have advanced healthcare services in the community, such as improved facilities or new ways to deliver healthcare services; and
- Has increased public attention to the healthcare needs of the community and has created public concern for meeting those needs.
Hospital or health system CEOs currently employed at any GHA-member institution are NOT eligible for nomination.
