The purpose of TeamSTEPPS is to establish a systematic approach to all aspects of team training - assessment and readiness, planning, training and implementation, coaching and sustainment of teamwork behaviors. These tools and techniques, originally developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Department of Defense (DoD) will promote positive change that will position you and your hospital for success.
