This program began with a federal Notice of Funding Opportunity awarded to GHA in April 2020 to help financially support the increase in hospitals’ expenditures due to their response to COVID-19. The program does not technically conclude until April 2025; however, all initial funding was used to reimburse member hospitals for eligible expenditures dating back to January 2020. The funding was distributed in two installments dated April 30, 2020 and July 10, 2020. In the event that additional funds are made available to GHA before the conclusion of the program in April 2025, we will promptly relay that information to our members.
